Antique LISTO Thin Lead Mechanical Pencil Lovely Marbled Finish SCARCE

Measures 5-1/8 inches. Looks to be in great shape, scratch to top as you can see here. No eraser. Well, I have been selling here on eBay since '98. I consider myself a jack-of-all-categories, master of none, save perhaps postcards. I have little experience with antique mechanical pencils. Offered here a circa 1930 Listo pencil. Per luck, or more precisely, kindness, I got some help from a big time pencil collector, author. Here is what he wrote about this one:
" Hey there. Your Listo pencil is pretty "special". It was produced relatively late in Listo's lead pencil manufacturing days (it now produces only mechanical grease pencils). And it has a unique (for Listo) writing tip, designed to be easy to repair and/or replace. All of the pencil's "mechanics" are in the "metal and black tip" of the pencil. The black section should easily unscrew from the rest of the barrel, and you'll be able to observe the entire "mechanical mechanism". In fact, if you look very closely up near the pocket clip, the barrel may well be inscribed with the patent number. You ought to check the pencil out, then add these facts to your listing so it attracts more Listo collectors. I'd be offering to buy it myself, but I already have several.
