Please contact me with any questions for an in-hand description before you bid/buy.  The backs of these pieces come in a variety of conditions ranging from still completely sealed (original seal) to duck taped or cracked open (letting in dust and insects).  This greatly affects the value.  This trout mount would normally go for around 0.  Contact me for additional pics.
I may be able to deliver it myself within NY, PA, OH, NJ, MD, VA and New England (depending on your location) but contact me first to finalize any delivery/pick-up details before you bid/buy.  Any shipping will be arranged and paid for by the buyer, but again, contact me first for suggested shippers and my ability to drop the piece off/or not (I will not use certain shippers).

Herman Grieb mounted pheasants, ducks, grouse, quail, woodcock, snipe, sandpiper, fish, trout, bass, salmon, musky, pike, waterfowl, wading birds, shore birds, squirrels, etc.
Contrary to popular belief, Herman Grieb did not work for the Buffalo Museum, he merely provided one mount; a bison.  He was a commercial taxidermist, serving the sportsmen in Western NY.  So, his mounts are not considered "museum grade" or "museum quality".  He developed the flat glass, concaved backing system.  Other commercial and amateur taxidermists produced flat glass, concave backed mounts as well.  Some of these are incorrectly billed as "Herman Griebs" and they are not.
