    Description

    Series LV800 electronic level switches operate on a capacitance principle whereby measured products must have a dielectric constant greater than 1.2. Typically, any water based mixture will have a much higher constant. Operation starts when a tunable oscillator circuit is activated by probe immersion, keeping the output conductive (relay output for LV820), and the green LED is on. When the level drops below the sensor position, the green light will extinguish and the output relay will drop out. The sensor can be manually tuned by adjusting the sensitivity potentiometer.
