A very rare genuine Black Neck Swan (Cygnus melancoryphus) blown egg. Swans lay the largest eggs of any flighted bird. Most Black Neck Swan eggs exhibit a  pale creamy tint as does this one. This egg measures approx. 3 3/4" long x 2 1/2" in diameter and is in excellent condition with no unnatural blemishes except for the tiny hole at one end. The color was very hard to capture in the photographs, I believe photos 1, 4 and 5 are the best match.
