Vintage Jade Green Sheaffer Mechanical Pencil Made In USA

Here we have a jade green Sheaffer mechanical pencil that is working well. It has “Sheaffer Made in USA” incised on the pen just below the silver band. We know almost nothing about it, but it does have a stamp that says, “.00” about an inch below the silver band. It can't have been used much or that would have been worn off. It is in a Sheaffer box that isn't a correct match (possibly for a snorkel pen), but perhaps the new owner has a use for it. Please refer to the photos for the best look. It is in great cosmetic condition with no damage or flaws noted.
It measures about 5” and is quite slim.
