    Description

VINTAGE National Semiconductor Fluorescent Automotive Clock - 12V DC NIB.
Unique working collectible automotive clock!  I purchased this (in 1980) during a visit to the National Semiconductor Factory Store in Silicon Valley and it has been sitting in a bag - unused.
No modification has been done to the clock module.  I plugged it into an edge connector (which will be included) and inserted a jumper wire into two PCD holes in order to show the display.
It is powered by the 9-Volt battery, which is near the lower end of its voltage range, so it is dimmer than if connected to a 12-Volt vehicle battery.
The module has numerous available connection points for ignition switch, parking lights, headlights and follows the dimming controls within the vehicle.  Switch points are available for time setting with external switches.
Included is the multi page application note which includes all specifications, applications and the full working schematic for the module.
This module could be used as an intriguing desk clock with or without a housing, using a simple low current 12VDC power adapter.
