At least 20 rushed to DMCH, three with gunshot wounds

At least 20 people were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital after suffering injuries in clashes between protesters on one side and Awami League and police on the other in different areas, were rushed Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Three of them had gunshot wounds, hospital sources said.
The injured are being treated at the emergency unit, said inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH police outpost.
Five of the people who suffered injuries in the clashes are protesters Mahin, 25, Hasibur Rahman, 30, Subhas, 24, Tanvir Rahman, 20, Selim, 40.
The injured said they were protesting for their one-point demand of the resignation of the government when ruling party men attacked them, threw brick chunks.
A shop employee Nizam, 23, rushed to DMCH after he suffered gunshot injuries in Nayabazar area in Dhaka. His co-worker Md Dipu said the shop employees brought out a procession, supporting the one-point demand when BCL men attacked them, and fired at them.
Besides, 13 persons including two with bullet wounds were rushed to DMCH from Munshiganj.
